Unless Ivy Bot has a turn around today it will close the week with a loss. I started Ivy Bot on Monday on serveral accounts in demo mode. I have had no trades on the FXOpen account. One positive trade and one negative trade on other accounts. I am running all aggresive settings from the IVY Bot manual. Only trades this week were in the USDJPY market.
I am hoping for better results next week.

Sooo... If I understand it correctly, noone has had a trade with IvyBot 5.0 on DEFAULT settings yet?
I am curious because I run it at my own computer and I have had to take it down a few times due to different problems, like a thunderstorm and such, and I thought perhaps I had missed the trade.
Speaking of downtime - if the computer or the network is down when IvyBot has a position open, does anyone know what will happen when the trading starts again / the network goes up? (I use FXDD / MetaTrader4).

But IvyBot was up to the effort. At one time all accounts were up 20 to 26 points, then This happened:
2009.08.28 02:31:26 order #117683 sell 0.10 USDJPY at 93.60 sl: 0.00 tp: 93.20 closed at price 93.90.
Similar results on all other brokers. It had already closed the previous sell order for a profit. why it opened the last order as a sell instead of a buy I do not know.
At this point, I am just enjoying the ignorance of this thing since it's on Demo accounts anyway.
The funniest thing is Ivy completely ignored the retracement which would have put all accounts up by a few pips.

The staff in ivybot told me that people are losing money because they did not use it the right way. They lose money because they change to aggresive setting. The right way to do it is use default setting and let the ivybot works for itself. Even though the return is slow if u use default setting, but u still can get consistent returns.

Hi nikezzz hey if you are buying fap turbo 48 i think that is the best choice. As i said it before. I have ivybot, megadroid and fap turbo. The only one that i can trust is fap turbo. The other two will make you tired fo waiting and in most of the times you would not be happy at all/. You said that you want to open an acct with $500.xx or so. That's what i have with the three ea ( robots). Thanks to fap turbo i have control my acct in good health lol... I am about to click the refund button for ivybot. Now. If you leave your default settings with you fap after you install it that will give you profits every day with no more than 2,3 or 4 dlls on the four pairs for the scalper strategy. Now i ll tell you what i have done with it and i assure you that you w ill be very happy woth the results.
When you drop your fap on the charts of the m15's only woth the scalper strategy you will see almost on top two settings . One will be the scalper_lots with your amount of $500.xx this should be 0.10 so ....
Scalper_lots 0.10 ok? The second setting will be the next one down that is:
Scalper_usemm false. By default this is set on true. You have to change it to false. This way the scalper will made every trade at the size of 0.10 fi you change to true then the robot will read your balance and your trades will be small. I have trades every day anywhere from $5.xx to $19.00 / consider that this may happen on every pair m15 that you set your ea/ the only pair that i have had loses with fap is the eur/gbp so i do no have the fap on that pair. I just have it on the other three. Eur/chf,gbp/chf and usd/cad.
Think that this trades will be happening every day times 3 or four ( pairs) once you rich over one thousand change the scalper lot to 0.4o/ well there you go , hope this help and if you do it post your results, unfortunately i could no start with more money and the other dum robot made me lost $500.xx thank to this setting on fap turbo in my last week and days i am almost at $ 700.00. We alll trusted ivybot to be one of the best. Well, how would an ea would open a selling ticket when the trend is going up??????? When you have a trader reading candle bar most likely would make a positive trade right? Robots would do the same or better rightttt? Well/ this pofs made me the wrong trend trades soooo i lost money...... I clicked to get my refund. Up to you if you guys if want to still play their game. So far I have tried 8-9 EAs none of them worked out, if they have a good one I doubt if they would release it to the public. So I have decided to do manual trades, which are producing reasonable profits. I am comfortable with my manual trades which I can do better than these robots. Good trading.

took a while but I finally got back my refund. on the ivybot 4.9
the awesome thing about this is that I get to keep it! It still works! But I'm not using it to trade, it sucks. I manually traded my live account, turned 1k into 1.9k this week. Ivybot lost over $100 on the demo.
It does, however, have a great feature that tells you the current spread price. just turn off autotrade. lol fxopen live spreads are tighter than alpari uk.

Switching to Megadroid after ivybot refund
I haven't requested my refund yet, I still have some time left.
I was thinking about trying it next week with the scalper settings.
IvyBot made a trade late today on the on my FXDD, Alpari UK accounts but did not make the trade on my BasicFX and Alpari US accounts.
This is the second time it's made a trade on Friday and left it open over the weekend.
I may purchase MegaDroid after I receive my refund from IvyBot.
This last week I've been manually trading.
Didn't do so well the first few days but got better at it as I went along.
I think I made over 300 pips yesterday with the manual trades.
Today wasn't as good but did make some good trades.
A lot of the trades were stopped out with a 5-10 pip profit.
Maybe I shouldn't have moved the stops in the money and let the trade run.
My demo account went about 2,500.00 in the hole and now it's 2,000.00 positive from the last two days of trading.
Too bad it's not real money.

The bot isnt even working. I get alerts saying "IVYBOT_USD_JPY: Selling"
However, it doesnt actually open the trade!
How do I fix this please? Could it be because I am using my own template to view the market? If THAT'S the reason, this EA is seriously gimped.

All together I am slight positive about my first week with Ivybot. I think it needs some help so I would not let it run on its own if it's not a demo account. At least it gave me a good indication when to buy.
Lets see what this new week will bring.
